Anyways I might as well post something of interest in my journal while im writing, I've found what I consider the best program possible for optimizing the browse and search feature on Deviantart. The program is called Cooliris [link] and is a free addon for Firefox. To use the program with deviantart decide what you'd like to browse for. for example if you wanted Photography> people & portraits>Emotive , you'd open the deviantart search type that in then click the corner of a thumbnail. A 3d wall of all the deviations in that category will then pop up and you can scroll through the pictures the same way you would on an iphone. I find this handy because theres no need to ever change pages and you can continuous scroll while viewing. If you find a picture you like there will be a link to the deviation you can click to open in your current browser or click the artist name for a 3d wall of all their deviations. =]
